Main responsibilities: - Managing of national and supranational permitting processes - Devising and advising a strategy for the permitting process on the EU level - Advising and monitoring the communication strategy; aiming at public authorities, NGOs and media - Preparing decisions and presenting identified options to Deputy Technical Director - Participating in Task Force meetings and preparing statements - Preparing, distributing and archiving minutes of meetings and ensuring related follow-up requirements - Collecting information on technical, legal and environmental problems, analyzing them and developing solutions - Representing Nord Stream to authorities, NGOs and other stakeholders
The ideal candidate will have: - 4+ years of experience in Crisis Management in large scale construction or energy projects or equivalent undertakings - 3+ years of experience in PR and Lobbying - written and oral communication with stakeholders of all levels and public authorities - Proven experience in energy markets and policy; legal affairs and environmental engineering - Proven experience with public authorities, EU policy and EU institutions - Strong intercultural skills - Experience in presenting in front of large and partly critical audiences - Proven ability to achieve results in a fast paced and changing environment - Fluency in English and German; knowledge of Russian preferred Michael Page Contact : Your application will be sent to Antje Amrhein (Zurich office), please quote the job reference VAAM29252.
