Our group, Strategy and Operations (Information Technology), is a key player in the Luxembourg market.  We provide
clients the appropriate IT facilities, both integrating packages and developing home-made solutions, mainly within
global re-engineering. This usually involves some of the various Deloitte practices (Consulting : Human Capital,
Forensic, Investment Management, ERS, Audit, etc.).

Our clients are major financial institutions, large public entities and global organizations for which IT is a
significant part of their business and added value. Our mission is to provide high level, long-term assistance in the
most specialized IT fields, while ensuring an overall solution (not only technical, but also organizational, legal,
etc.. when necessary) leveraging on the different strengths of our firm.

We are currently seeking to recruit a qualified and motivated New Technologies Solutions Architect to join the team.
The person recruited will be responsible for feasibility studies and high level design work. Tasks will include:
•	Develop solutions based on a customer's strategic business or technical requirements.
•	Prepare the technical architectural and implementation design.
•	Develop and execute the implementation plan and activities.
•	Work closely with the Project Manager to define project deliverables and schedules, identify and leverage resources
in order to satisfy the technical needs and objectives of the implementation.
•	Lead the implementation of an engagement and participate in the installation, customization, and integration of the
solution.
•	Maintain awareness of existing or potential customer software/hardware situations and face potential problems of
software/hardware compatibility within the customer's environment.
•	Work to educate others corporately on potential problems and resolutions.
•	Coaching of junior colleagues.

Qualifications required:
•	University degree (BAC+4/5 equivalent) in information technology or related field.
•	3 to 5 years' proven experience in IT project management and architecture.
•	Excellent awareness of:
-Odyssey products such as Triple A, OCS, TASC
-RUP/UML methodology
-Sybase, or SQL Server
-Unix (Solaris/Linux)
-Middleware technologies (Websphere/Weblogic)
-Java, J2EE
-Storage and Backup 
-SQL, XML, XSL, knowledge of one MVC framework (such as cocoon)
•	Knowledge of Messaging technologies (especially MQ) and/or DataStage Tx and/or OCS would be considered as an asset.
•	Proficient in performance and capacity planning, configuration management and infrastructure upgrade planning.
•	Good understanding of delivered solutions conform to IT Security standards and best practice.
•	Experience in the financial sector would be considered as an asset.
•	Excellent client management, interpersonal, organizational, business analysis and interpretation skills.
•	Fluent in French and English; German would be considered as an asset.
•	International mobility is required
