This is a multifunctional assignment in an international environment with good career development opportunities. Your main responsibility will be to provide technical support and expertise to the CAPEX Management group in cement plant related projects. Including: Developing and reviewing plant concepts and commenting on layout drafts and flow sheets; Calculating mass flow data for entire cement plants, from raw material to cement storage; Reviewing and commenting on technical aspects of tender documents; Assessing offers by potential equipment suppliers; Evaluating technical supplier's documents for consistency before contract signature; Ensuring that all contractual requirements are respected during the projects execution.
The ideal candidate will have: Degree in mechanical or process engineering (min. BA) or equivalent education; Minimum 2 years professional experience in a cement plant or with a manufacturer of cement machinery - alternatively minimum 4 years as a consultant within a cement consulting company; Knowledge of cement production processes and of the equipment involved; A high degree of self motivation with an analytical style; The capability to build up networking due to excellent communication skills and an interest in building up and sharing valuable know-how with business partners; Willingness to travel (up to 15%); Fluency in English, German or any further language of advantage.
