Mission |
|
Based in Belgium and reporting to the Head of Engineering, you provide support on technical projects (from 5M euros to
more than 100M euros) and on operational activities with the organization and implementation of investment projects
according to HTC Project Management Guidelines.
Your main tasks are to:
Cooperate with pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, participate in preparation and proposal of various technical
solutions, related investments and operational costs (IRR, NPV, EVA);
Implement investments projects with responsibility in terms of quality, cost and time :
- Elaborate a design of production facilities;
- Elaborate or review bid documents and technical specifications;
- Evaluate tenders and select suppliers;
- Negotiate contracts;
- Follow-up and coordinate suppliers and construction work;
- Participate in commissioning and performance tests;
Support and consult cement plants in the field of mechanical engineering for plant optimization;
Keep records and update technical documentation;
Participate in internal projects and improvement initiatives.

Profil recherché / Compétences
|
|
You have minimum a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent trough experience and have a minimum of 10 years experience and at least 5 years experience in the field of mechanical engineering and project management. Knowledge of the cement industry is mandatory. An experience in conducting studies including EVA, IRR, NPV and/or a good understanding of contractual matters (negotiation and legal aspects) are also valuable assets.
You are fluent in English. A Knowledge of other languages is an asset.
With a good presentation, you have very good communication skills and a demonstrated experience in project management, problem solving and creativity. With an entrepreneurial thinking, you are autonomous, rigorous, flexible. A multicultural experience and understanding is mandatory. You are open to travel abroad in his area.
