We are looking for our client for a UNIX System Engineer
Mission: The main mission of the UNIX System Engineer is to support, monitor and maintain the UNIX infrastructure.
The jobholder will have the opportunity to work on a high availability, resilient infrastructure in a very dynamic
environment.
Key Activities et Accountabilities:
• Provide support and monitoring of the core UNIX platform. Primarily for the EMEA ERP system,
• Proactively monitor and maintain systems and services that support business,
• Backup administration
Education
• IT orientated degree or equivalent IT experience required,
Essential:
• 2-3 years in Solaris 9 or 10 proven experience,
• 1 year experience on AIX 5L,
• Good knowledge of NIM, LVM, GPFS 2.3,
• Knowledge of SDS (Solstice DiskSuite),
• Ability to script with KSH, AWK, SED
• Languages: Fluent in English essential, French a plus.
